What the hell is this? Another yellow bubble blog?

Over the last few years I have given a fair number of training sessions to end users about using the Lotus Notes client. The same questions always come up time and time again:
  • How can I move a folder
  • How can I sort the results of a full text search
  • How do I delegate access
  • Etc, etc, etc

If you're a long time Notes user you probably know the answers to these. If you read Planet Lotus you probably know the answers to these. If your a Domino admin or developer....well, you really should know the answers to these. But there are those who don't. And there are lots of them. This is a blog for them.

Over the coming months, years and millennia we will be doing very short screen casts covering all manner of Lotus Notes tricks centered around making Notes users more productive. Hence the name, "Tips In Two". Most of the screen cast content will be under two minutes in length (a) so we can post more often, and (b) so users don't get overwhelmed.

For the Yellow bubble this was inspired by David Leedy's excellent YouTube Notes in Nine channel about XPages and also from the session Bruce and Julian did on Podcasting a few days ago. I've thinking about this for a while and these were both the final impetus. Thanks guys!

This site, at least initially we be a Simplified Technology Solutions (STS) effort with posts from me, Lisa Duke and Ernie Sutter. I'm hoping Lisa and Ernie do most of these as they really are the end users inside of the STS organization. But I am an ASW so we will see.

Darren,

This is great stuff! Love the 1st two shows! I'm looking forward to seeing more of these. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know.

David
